What are Beacons?
Beacons are small battery-powered devices that continuously broadcast URLs using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Unlike with traditional Bluetooth devices, you don’t need to ‘pair’ with beacons, and they can transmit for years on a single coin cell battery.

How can I use the Physical Web?
On Android, the built-in ‘Google Nearby’ feature is the easiest way to ‘see’ Physical Web beacons. Just pull down the notifications bar and tap on ‘X nearby links found’.
On iOS, just download the Physical Web app, built and maintained by the PHWA, from the App Store.
